With light comes life, the warmth of the sun was very welcome on this cold and frosty morning. Having just shot the Nine Ladies Close stone circle, I decided to head over to capture Robin Hoods Stride as it bathed in the gorgeous golden light, but mid journey I was stopped in my tracks by a sight behind me. I'm not sure why I glanced around but I'm so glad I did. 
It just goes to show you if you are only focused on what is in front of you, you might miss what's beautiful right beside you. Enjoy the journey as well as the destination, every now and then take a moment to absorb everything around you!
